Guides
Recipes for specific tasks against the API.
Find a series by name, fetch its full record, and list where to read it. No account or key needed.
Call the account endpoints as yourself with a personal access token (PAT).
Search and list endpoints return one page at a time, with a link to the next.
Already have a list of series from another site? Turn each entry into a MangaBaka series id, trying the most exact method first. No account or key needed.
Use OAuth when other people sign in to your app with their MangaBaka account.
Keep a local copy of a MangaBaka library up to date. Read it once, store a cursor, and from then on fetch only what changed, removals included.
When two records turn out to be the same series, one is merged into the other. If you store series ids, check them now and then and move merged ids to their replacement.
Create or update up to 100 library entries in one request. The batch is all or nothing: if any entry fails, nothing is written.
Edit a series, or add a new one, through the same submission API the website uses. Fetch the current record, change what you need, and send it back.
Add your own data to MangaBaka pages from a userscript or browser extension, through marked injection points and two DOM events.
