This is a compilation of 2 very different stories – one the tale of the daughter of the leader of Ali Baba’s infamous 40 thieves, and the other about the daughter of a woman who dies when soldiers come to their town and split it in two.

These are the adventures of a young man named Tarou, who is an extra on the movie Ryuusei Oujo, and his daily life. There is once again a second half, which is the tale of a group of high school boys during world war II who defend their homes using kendo skills while their fathers are at war, one of whom eventually find himself in the military as well.

Two young boys who are both orphans of the war become friends under an ancient Camphor tree. Later in life, one becomes a reporter and the other a criminal and their lives intersect again and again as that tree becomes first a symbol of their strained friendship, and then their salvation…

"Angel's Hill" is a fantasy story depicting the stormy life of a mermaid princess, Luna. Luna is put into a seashell and floated out to the sea because she breaks the rules of the Angel's Island. He saves Luna and takes her to Japan. Surprisingly, Luna and Eiji's younger sister, Akemi, look as alike as if they were twins. Akemi, who has a perverse nature, turns into Luna on a whim. Akemi is kidnapped and taken to Angel's Island with Eiji. There, Akemi is almost offered as a sacrificial offering by a female shaman, Pyoma. Atsushi, a fourth-grade elementary school student, is a daydreaming and absent-minded boy who often dozes off. Together with his friend Yoshi,, whom he confides in, they discover a strange beetle and a family tree hidden in Atsushi's house, leading Atsushi to learn that he is a descendant of aliens.

In the year 19XX, a new celestial body has been discovered in the same orbit as Earth. Dubbed "Planet Deimon" after its discoverer, Doctor Deimon, the planet's orbit soon slows, coming into close proximity with Earth. After a severe storm, the planet becomes Earth's second satellite. Doctor Deimon's son, Rock, organizes an expedition to explore the new planet and discovers that there are two races of sentient beings living on Deimon. The "Epumu", a race of avian people with the ability to fly, and the "Ruboroom", a race of metamorphic clay men who are slaves to the "Epumu". After his first journey to Deimon, Rock adopts a baby "Epumu" chick named "Chiko" and raises him, learning more about Deimon culture and the differences between human and "Epumu" civilization. However, as the conflict between the people of Earth and the people of Deimon escalate, Rock becomes the ambassador for the two worlds and attempts to find a way to bring peace to everyone.
