**ShuCream BL** is the international publishing imprint of the Japanese manga production company ShuCream Inc. (株式会社シュークリーム), headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The imprint was launched in **February 2022** as the company’s dedicated overseas division for its Boys’ Love (BL) catalog, with its English-language website making its debut on **February 22, 2022**.

ShuCream BL functions as the global distribution arm for ShuCream’s proprietary BL labels, which include **from RED**, **moment**, and **Ameiro**. The imprint made its official digital debut on **February 21, 2022**, via the **BOOK☆WALKER Global Store**, followed by a release on **MangaPlaza** on **March 2, 2022**, with plans to expand to additional platforms such as **MANGA.CLUB**.

The establishment of ShuCream BL is a direct extension of ShuCream’s longstanding corporate philosophy of **“Manga beyond gender,”** a theme the company has championed for over 30 years while producing manga for female readers across various genres. The imprint positions BL as a crystallization of this philosophy and aims to deliver these works to a global readership. A stated objective of this global expansion is to combat piracy by providing legitimate, translated editions as quickly as possible. In addition to English, ShuCream BL has pursued a multilingual strategy, securing exclusive contracts for **Korean** and **Traditional Chinese** editions ahead of its English launch, with preparations underway for **French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese** releases through partnerships with local publishers.
