ShuCream

**ShuCream Inc.** (株式会社シュークリーム) is a Japanese manga production company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1989, the company has spent decades creating and editing manga for a wide range of publishers, with a primary focus on content for female readers. In July 2021, ShuCream expanded into self-publishing, launching its own imprints for BL comics and josei (women's) manga. The company operates several proprietary labels, including **from RED** (digital BL comics), **OURFEEL** (josei manga for women), **moment** (BL comics), **Ameiro** (BL comics), and **ShuCream BL** (its international, English-language imprint for BL titles). ShuCream also has a long history of editing magazines for other publishers, including *FEEL YOUNG* and *on BLUE* (both published by Shodensha).

To date, ShuCream has produced over 3,000 titles, published nearly 100 under its own labels, and seen cumulative copies produced exceed 50 million. It currently offers more than 2,000 digital titles, with new releases added monthly. The company's corporate mission is encapsulated in the theme **"Manga beyond gender,"** a philosophy it has maintained for over 30 years while producing manga for female readers across diverse genres (shōjo, josei, childcare, essay, BL, and more) while challenging traditional gender norms. In February 2022, ShuCream began a full-scale overseas digital rollout of its BL labels (from RED, moment, and Ameiro) in English via BookWalker Global (February 21, 2022) and MangaPlaza (March 2, 2022), with plans to expand to other platforms such as MANGA.CLUB. Prior to the English launch, the company had already signed exclusive licensing deals for Korean and Traditional Chinese editions, and it has been preparing multilingual editions in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese.
