Suiryu's Bride: First Love's Sorrow

"The one who saved me from being offered as a sacrificial bride resembled my first love..." Yu, a girl with burn scars on her face, has never had a place to belong. She worked tirelessly for the family that took her in, but everything changed the day she started menstruating. Overjoyed, her foster father delivered a cruel decree―she was to offer herself as a sacrificial bride to Lord Suiryu, the monster said to protect the local water source. Having accepted that at least she'll die so others can live, yet overcome by despair, Yu sank into a nearby lake, but was saved by a young man covered in dragon-like scales who resembled her first love. A Japanese-style pure romance story about a lonely girl and a young man, and the love that slowly blossoms between them, is about to unfold.
