Unsuccessful manga artist Shirafuji Kuroro can see spirits and is easily possessed by them. He is able to "host" possessed spirits to Jizo statues and stone statues. He makes use of this ability to live in haunted properties and earn a living by receiving a fee. One day, what he thought was just another haunted property suddenly bursts into flames and he is transported to another world!
