Where series data comes from, how often it refreshes, and what to do when it is wrong.
Series data is aggregated from the metadata providers below and merged with edits made on MangaBaka.

Refresh frequency#↑
The entire database is updated weekly from the supported metadata providers.
How often an individual series refreshes depends on how often it changes on the underlying sites, with a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 7 days between updates.
Raw provider responses#↑
Fields with the suffix _response hold the raw response from the upstream API. Their shape is the upstream's, and changes when the upstream API changes.
Merged series#↑
A series can be merged into another. Its state is then merged, and merged_with holds the id of the series that replaced it. Update your stored id to keep receiving updates. See Follow merged and deleted series.
Stability#↑
Each endpoint declares its own stability, from stable to internal. See versioning and stability. Every change is recorded in the changelog.
Wrong or missing metadata#↑
Report problems with provider data on the provider's own site. Once fixed there, MangaBaka picks up the change. Ask on Discord (#data) if you're unsure.
