Team Kakashi has some time off and Naruto decides that he wants to go to the place where he had last seen his best friend Sasuke. There he's being kidnapped by Sasuke. The next thing the blond sees is nothing but darkness.

Naruto and Sasuke are having a 'final' battle. The dj is mostly action, with Naruto being stubborn (and a good figher) and Sasuke looking back on his previous fights with Naruto and the real reason he didn't kill him back at the Valley of the End.

Genin story; Naruto and Sasuke are getting along as poorly as ever, fighting, getting scolded by Kakashi, messing around in the bath together, and eventually having a fluffy moment after Naruto has a particularly bad dream.

Team 7 catches up to Sasuke just as he's finished off Itachi. Angst and drama ensues concerning Sasuke's future.
