Higurashi WHEN THEY CRY: Demon Exposing Arc

After moving into the quiet town of Hinamizawa, Maebara Keiichi spends his days blissfully in school often playing games with his local friends. However, appearances can be deceiving. One fateful day, Keiichi stumbles upon news of a murder that had occurred in Hinamizawa. From this point on, horrific events unfold in front of Keiichi, as he soon learns his close friends may not be all that they seem. Based on the amateur mystery game by 7th Expansion, the story is told in a series of different scenarios. Tatarigoroshi is the third in a series of manga following the different scenarios of the Higurashi games. It focuses on the Houjou family history.

Based on the Nintendo DS Game with the same title This version of Onisarashi-hen is told through the eyes of Minai Tomoe, a policewoman who is investigating the strange occurrences happening all over Japan. Akasaka Mamoru and Ooishi Kuraudo are present in this chapter, as well as Tomoe's younger sister, Minai Madoka who is also a police officer, and another male officer, Fujita Shingo.

It focuses on Kousaka Mizuho, Sonozaki Shion and the murders happening at their school.Note: Includes 2 extra chapters that both include characters from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Onisarashi-hen, in particular the second one is an epilogue for Onisarashi-hen, dissimilar to the epilogue present in that entry.
