Tsumihoroboshi is the sixth in a series of manga following the different scenarios of the Higurashi games and the second that tries to answer questions raised in the previous scenarios. It focuses on Ryuuguu Rena's sudden distrust of her friends and answers some questions about the mystery surrounding Furude Rika.
This is regarded as the chapter where "the best situation has been provided," but it takes the courage of a certain character to change the course. This will answer everything, however there is one chapter left - Matsuribayashi-hen. (Source: Wikipedia)
Summer 1983...Hinamizawa is a tranquil village, but its inhabitants have been plagued by strange deaths and unexplained disappearances seemingly every year. Some say it's the terrifying curse of Hinamizawa's legendary deity, Oyashiro-sama, causing victims to be spirited away by monsters, but is this town harboring dark, horrying secrets even more sinister than any supersition or myth? An epilogue to Matsuribayashi-hen where Rika and the others, including Hanyū, go on a summer vacation to heal their hearts, so to speak, after everything they have been through.
The endless cycle of murders has been broken and Rika is finally able to settle down for a normal life with her friends. However, she is involved in a traffic accident and wakes up in a world where everything is different. A world where no one committed the sins that shaped them into the persons they are. It's up to Rika to discover the truth behind this world and whether or not it truly is perfect.

Meakashi is the fifth in a series of manga following the different scenarios of the Higurashi games and the first scenario that aims to answer questions raised in the previous scenarios. It focuses on seemingly the same happenings as in Watanagashi-hen only told from Shion Sonozaki's point of view.
In Minagoroshi-hen, the mastermind of the murders was revealed. This time, all the pieces of the puzzle are in place. The last step for the characters to take is putting the pieces together in order to defeat the culprit, obtain the miracle, and break through the barrier of June 1983. Matsuribayashi-hen is a "Good End" in which no major deaths occur in that June, although the deaths in previous years still occurred.
