Referred to as the 'Second Flood', it only took 40 days for 'Him' to take over all human societies; this event compared to the 'Noah's Ark'. After the Second Flood, humans are now living inside a game made by Yggdrasil, no longer doing anything other than quests with rewards. They are now just game characters controlled by 'Him'.
