Mokke Ishin centers around 10 years or so after national isolation was stopped. In the past, there was once a country which relied heavily on Gods. Now that isolation has stopped, and the country is exposed to all kinds of external influence, it has deemed that the Gods are no longer needed. Hence, a boy sets out on a journey, hunting these Gods.
