A collection of four short stories: Chapter 1 is the 100 page title story. It's a supernatural shoujo about a man with one chance to escape from death, a mysterious woman he meets, and a tribe seeking to find its way back into Heaven. Chapter 2 deals with the mystery of a man gone missing, and presumed dead. Chapter 3 is a very short story about a couple in the mountains who pick up a strange guest. Chapter 4 is a longer story about the traditions binding a family, those that would break away from them, and the dark secret that holds the family in sway.

The cafe owner Mikumo and general store shopkeeper Yano have their shops directly above and below each other in the same building. The two seem so close, but aren't a couple -- and their oh-so-frustrating "romance" is being silently witnessed by the most unlikely of beings.
The Rain and Willow shop is an antique store that is owned by a certain elderly man whose grandson assists him with the management. The grandfather is a man of business, while the grandson is a calm, quiet boy with soft unfocused eyes who has the ability to see things that are "not of this world".

She only remembers things up till spring of her 6th grade year, hence: she has the mentality of a grade school kid… and forgets about her boyfriend, Kakurazaka Hikaru, a well-known exorcist as well. Mugiko and Kakurazaka will work together to exorcise spirits whenever they are hired, despite the little accident. Eva Schul is a former actress who spends her days drinking and flirting with men. One night, during a party, she is suddenly taken into a car by a group of strangers. One of the men, Arthur, a film director, asks her to play the Virgin Mary in a film about the life of the Christ. Eva starts to remember her days as an actress, and then accepts the offer.
