The story features four divine Dragon Kings, each with their own kingdoms: one to the north, one to the east, one to the south, and one to the west. The brothers are reborn in the modern world, complete with supernatural powers and the ability to become the Dragons they descended from. They are content to live ordinary lives until evil creatures come to attack them. It becomes the mission of the four brothers to defeat the "Four Sisters", four girls from America and the descendants of the "Bulls", before they use their control over technology and the economy to take over the world. However, as this battle begins, the four brothers must also find their place in the world as they flee from the destructive will of the "Bulls".
Fujimaru Wataru has been moving from job to job since college but has not been able to find a career, but he thinks that is about to change when he lands a job as an assistant to a lawyer. Wataru starts off his first day with a bad impression to his boss, a young female politician named Hara Akira, and her other assistant and who's also her nephew, Mizutani Yuki, but he quickly turns it around by unwittingly gaining the support of an important member of the community. Although he doesn't remember, apparently, Wataru and Akira were classmates in elementary school and that's why she decided to give him a shot. However, Wataru learns that if he wants to keep this job, he has to work hard to get Akira re-elected or his position will no longer exist and the competition looks very fierce this year. Maruyama Mahiru has moved back to a town she used to live in when she was very small to attend high school. She doesn't really remember much about the town, but it recently went through some drastic changes. Five years ago, the town became connected to some other world, which the townspeople refer to as "docca". Since then, many different fantastical creatures have leaked through into our reality. For instance, Mahiru's first day of school is cancelled due to a dragon! On her way to school, Mahiru meets an older schoolmate, Kanda Rekka, who is involved in the management of the "docca" problem, and helps her track down a gorgeous prince. He remembers almost nothing about himself or where he came from. Mahiru would like to have an ordinary high school life, but she soon finds herself roped into helping out the new prince and joining the "docca" team!
