The platform's content strategy is built on a dual foundation of original creation and licensed foreign works. It initially focused on distributing original domestic comics but quickly expanded through major partnerships with leading Japanese publishers. Starting in **2013** with an agreement with **Shueisha** to bring titles like *One Piece* and *Naruto* to the platform, it later forged alliances with **Kadokawa**, **Kodansha**, and **Shogakukan**, significantly enriching its catalog with legitimate Japanese manga. To cultivate domestic talent, Tencent Dongman launched the **"Dream Building Plan"** (追梦计划) in 2015, creating an author incentive system modeled on the success of online literature platforms to support and reward creators.

In terms of monetization, the platform utilizes a hybrid model that has evolved over time. Creators are typically compensated through a combination of a **minimum guarantee** (保底) and **revenue sharing** (分成), with the latter derived from two main sources: a **V-member subscription** (V会员) and **pay-per-episode** purchases.
