Wei Palace

Born the son of Imperial Princess Yeonhwa, Geonwoon was raised as the rightful heir to the empire. But after his mother's untimely death, his claim was stolen by Gyeonghwi - a usurper whose rise to power was swift, brutal, and absolute.

Stripped of his titles and locked away in the remote Wei palace, Geonwoon is left with nothing but his name and fading will to live. Repeated escape through death is denied when the emperor threatens the lives of his surviving kin.

Then, one night, Gyeonghwi reveals the twisted depths of his obsession: his desire to imprison Geonwoon's body, but also to possess his heart by force.
