I Mistook You for a Hero

Shunned all her life for her impure heritage, Yeriel defies millennia-old tradition and is chosen to become the hero's guide—the one who will aid the hero in his quest to defeat the Demon Lord and save the world. She finds the hero easily enough, but something's not right. It turns out the real hero is already dead, and nothing short of a miracle would make the flirtatious rake she did find into anything but a mere mortal.
Well, maybe it's time for a miracle.
Between an unorthodox guide, a pretend hero, and a pet octopus named Dumbi, this ragtag crew might just be able to save the world.
