I was unintentionally bound by a magic contract with the Northern Duke.

If he gets hurt, the injury transfers directly to me. What a miserable situation.

It became normal for me to hide this troublemaker—who was constantly getting injured—behind me and keep an eye on him.

I’d even started to feel a little proud of myself for it.
