The Misfortune of Loving You

The House of Eperne, older than the Empire itself, collapsed overnight. The fate of Delnia, the noble Countess of Eperne, had fallen in an instant. The man who led the downfall was Roan Barthez, Delnia’s one-time servant and her longtime nemesis. “You’d better not rebel in vain,” he told her, “for there is no one to save you now.” It was a terrible situation, but one she was willing to endure, if that was Roan’s revenge. But even that wasn’t enough. “The Emperor has given you to me.” “……what?” Delnia stammered, and froze, unable to breathe for a moment. The man who had been as cold as ever-no, even back then-was smiling as brightly as a spring sun. “From now on, I am your master.” Source: NU Includes 8 side story chapters.
