Welcome to Your New Workplace: The Hellish Front Lines! Lina, Strategist, Age Eight

After a long and grueling war against the Kingdom of Arcadia, the Galleria Empire stands on the brink of collapse. On the hellish front lines of its most brutal battlefield, a young girl's scream rings out: “This isn't what you promised! This isn't what you promised! This isn't what you promised at all!” The voice belongs to Lina, an eight-year-old girl who enlisted in the military to save the orphanage that raised her. She can't wield a sword or use magic. All she has is the unassuming skill Multilingual Comprehension—and memories of a past life spent enduring endless overtime at an exploitative company and playing strategy simulation games! Lina was promised a well-paid desk job at a safe command post. Instead, she finds herself in the middle of the battlefield, forced into the role of a mysterious military strategist. No one yet realizes that the commands issued by her tiny hands will overturn every convention and completely transform the course of the war—not even Lina herself. As for Lina, she has only one desperate request: a slice of deliciously sweet cake.
