The Villainous Admiral Wants to Catch Me in His Net

The sea had no rules. It was full of monsters that ate people and pirates who stole from ships.

In this dangerous sea, there lived the world's strongest naval admiral. Everyone feared him. He had money, power, and good looks, but he kept one big secret:
He was actually a siren!

He lived in a world where other magical creatures had disappeared. He hid who he truly was until he met Sellah, a woman who loved the sea. She discovered his secret right away.

"A siren, huh? I like mackerel, tuna, flatfish, stingrays... pretty much all sea fish," she said.
"...Fish," he replied, confused.

Sellah was quite strange. Despite her odd ways, she hid powers of her own.

The admiral decided to hire her so he could keep an eye on her, but things didn't go as planned.

"So what if I want to be a beach bum?" she asked.
"What's that?" he wondered.
"It's simple. I don't work. I just lie around, eat food, and do nothing—like a rich layabout. That's my dream, to live that way by the beach."
"......"
"If you hire me, I won't work. I'll just sprawl on the couch like a seal, patting my full belly."
"That sounds fun. I've never hired a sea seal before," he answered without much concern.

His calm response left Sellah shocked. GASP!

Wait, this wasn't what she wanted! She never meant to get mixed up with the admiral.

After all, he was the final villain from the original story!

She hadn't planned to treat his illness or find out who he really was. Now she decided to run away to a beach resort for a quiet life.

"This is interesting," said the admiral. His eyes blazed like fire as he looked out at the sea and ordered:
"Chase the ship to Maltana. Now."
