One Last

Kim Ha-yoon and Baek Moo-kyung were born at the exact same moment—drawing their first breaths simultaneously. They instinctively understood they were connected by fate, sharing every moment of their lives together as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

Everything changed when the mysterious [Gate] opened. In the aftermath, Moo-kyung lost all his memories and Ha-yoon lost his special abilities.

Only one certainty remained in Moo-kyung's mind: Ha-yoon was definitely NOT his "fragment".

To stay close to the memory-less Moo-kyung, Ha-yoon creates a fictional person named Kim Hee-won. This leads to a critical misunderstanding—Moo-kyung believes Ha-yoon survived alone while someone named Hee-won was lost.

Ha-yoon offers to help restore Moo-kyung's memories: "I'll keep telling you what you've forgotten if we can be friends again".
Each lie Ha-yoon tells only increases Moo-kyung's resentment: "Kim Ha-yoon, you make me miserable".
Eventually, Ha-yoon promises to disappear from Moo-kyung's life when they turn twenty-seven.

These two were born as each other's "fragments"—destined companions—but now stand completely misaligned. Can they possibly find their way back to the ending they once hoped for?
