It is a mystery woven from historical truth and fictional suspense.

A young man and his neighbors spend their days playing guitar outside a music shop to attract customers, living a simple, repetitive life, except for one troubling fact: none of them remembers anything from before 1995. The young man’s last clear memory is from that year, when he moved into his apartment. He doesn’t know his own name, whether he has a family, or whether he is the tenant or the owner.

His home is in the “Golden Apartments,” an old building awaiting redevelopment. During a community meeting to discuss the project, everyone discovers that none of the residents remembers their own names. Gradually, the building’s hidden history comes to light: the apartments were named after the gold once mined in the area during the Japanese occupation. The mine tunnel was abandoned long ago, and the building was eventually constructed above it. In 1995, a fire killed most of its residents. Those who survived are now all survivors who lost their memories, and inexplicably, their memories.

Resigned to waiting for redevelopment, they have no idea how to reclaim their past until someone, unable to resist their curiosity, opens a door that was never meant to be opened...
