A World Full of Fools

Ja-eon was fleeing from debt collectors who were trying to sell him off as a concubine to a perverted gentleman when he was eventually driven to the edge of a cliff and fell to the depths. Believed to have perished, Ja-eon opened his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar place. Before him stood a colossal man, over seven cheok in height, his face and entire body covered in red scars.

He was undoubtedly the man of rumour known as a ‘ghostly beast’ - one who drinks the blood of tigers by day and devours humans by night. Ja-eon tried to flee, determined to return by any means necessary to his father, the temple attendant, who awaited him, but all he received in response was a single, unexpected remark from the man.

“I shall take you as my mate.”
