Pray to the Stars

Cheonghwa grew up with a deep curiosity about the stars. After running away from home, she becomes the disciple of Haeseok, an astronomer. As Cheonghwa spends a long time by Haeseok’s side, she begins to develop feelings for him and eventually confesses. However, Haeseok coldly ignores her feelings.

“You could’ve at least given me an answer…”

Hurt by his reaction, Cheonghwa climbs onto the roof that night with the neighborhood dog to look at the stars and ends up venting her frustration.

“I wish you’d rather turn into a dog and love me.”

At that moment, as if the stars had heard her, a sudden sparkle of light shines!
