After her sister’s suicide, Bi-Do blames Mr. Shin, the man named in her suicide note. She approaches him at the funeral expecting a cruel monster, but instead finds he feels unexpectedly like her savior. He takes her from her suffocating small town to Seoul, the place she once dreamed of living with her sister. The more time she spends with him, the more conflicted she feels about the man she thought she was supposed to hate.
