Shika no Hanashi

Legend among hunters speaks of a rare white deer: to behold it brings good fortune, but to kill it invites catastrophe. Toka Rokuhara, a hunter, dismissed such tales—until the day he accidentally shot and killed a white deer with four eyes. From that moment on, he began to see living deer in the form of human beings. Unable to bring himself to shoot another deer, and worn down by his ordeal, Toka turned to trapping for a living. One day, he caught something in one of his snares: a young male deer, unfit for food. Thus begins a strange life shared between a man and a creature. Is this a curse, a divine retribution, or perhaps something else entirely...? From Natsuko Mushikai—who stunned readers with her striking debut, Kegare no Nai Hito—comes a new mystery BL.
