All I Want Is to Study!

Youtarou Harukawa, a 3rd year Junior high school student, confesses to Megumi, his private tutor who is currently studying at the University of Tokyo. Youtarou thought he'd be rejected simply due to the age difference between them, but it turns out that Megumi's only interested in people who can reach UTokyo's standards. Youtarou, thinking, "In that case, I've got a chance!" sets his sights on getting into UTokyo. Unfortunately, far from being brilliant, Youtarou is a complete idiot. Nevertheless, Youtarou decides to dedicate himself completely to his studies, but, to the contrary, what's in store is a completely unlikely destiny. (Source: Shogakukan, translated)
