I've Defeated the Demon Lord, so I Guess I'll Head Home

Hero: “Hey there, Your Majesty. It’s the Hero here!” The hero, having defeated the Demon King, returns triumphantly to the castle. However, his appearance was far too casual, and far too… shabby, to report such a monumental feat as the Demon King’s defeat. Soon, he begins to recount the journey of the hero’s party. It is not the typical RPG-style heroic tale brimming with hope. This is a blood-soaked tale of reality, a story of a man who distrusts everyone, bears the guilt of “murdering”, numbs his moral with potent herbs strong enough to induce withdrawal symptoms, and cuts down his own companions to forge his path.
