Tora to Hitsuji

"I just want to be someone's special person." With this single-minded desire, high school girl Torami aims to become an idol. One day, she comes to the rescue of her classmate Yoko, who is being bullied in the bathroom. The two girls, each carrying their own loneliness, quickly become best friends... But Torami's painfully pure wish attracts a violent man named Takagi, and her life is turned upside down. To escape this curse, they must go to any lengths together.

A coming-of-age suspense story that is beautiful precisely because it is fleeting.
