In the demon-inhabited Land of Roots, the demon king Satanick, who rules this world, torments Ivlis, the flame devil from another realm, and sleeps with him every night. Ivlis has since become unable to resist him. As they make love night after night, Ivlis is reminded of his own dark past...

Satanick, the demon king. His personality is free-spirited and lively, but at times he casts a dark shadow over his heart. Memories of the past that remain vivid even after a long time has passed. Satanick stood in the wilderness, holding a bouquet of flowers, with a certain "memory of the past" in his heart. A man he had once met, named Victor Flankenstein. Victor was about to commit an "act against God," when the Demon King Satanick appeared before him. Satanick was very interested in Victor's "invention," but the appearance of the demon made Victor reconsider his actions, and he decided to return to his hometown. Satanick also left Victor's side for a while, and then visited him after a "short" period of time. In the dimly lit, unlit room was Victor, with a somber expression.

"What's wrong? Why the long face... You wanted to see it, didn't you? My 'invention'—!!"
