Kino, a cheerful boy who gets along with everyone, always finds some way to get all up into Tanahashi's business. Tanahashi may say he doesn't appreciate the other boy's attempts at friendship, but he doesn't really hate it - he actually appreciates it enough to make one big lifestyle change.
