On the Night of the Final Bets

Hiromu Ishida, who hates gambling, was being taken for a ride at a mahjong parlor—where a senior colleague had dragged him against his will—when he was rescued by the mahjong player Ryuki Osawa. Ryuki is a popular player who also runs the parlor, but he is surly and rough-mannered; Hiromu mistakenly assumes Ryuki is angry at him for wandering in as an amateur. Hiromu vows never to cross paths with him again, only to discover later that Ryuki is actually his next-door neighbor...! Hiromu wants nothing to do with a gambler, but Ryuki pays no heed and keeps closing the distance between them...
