Traumatized by the past, Tachibana hides his homosexuality from those around him, maintaining a well-behaved and amiable persona at work.
Tachibana dislikes Asaka, a colleague in the same department who, despite his free-spirited and carefree demeanor, is somehow well-liked and highly competent at his job.

One day, worried that he might remain a virgin forever, Tachibana decides to dress up as the protagonist of a BL (Boys' Love) book his sister owned and visit a gay bar.
As he sits at the counter, observing his surroundings, Asaka, who shouldn't be there, suddenly appears and says, "Let's do it tonight!"
