## The problem

Currently, selecting or clicking any rating slider other than the one we're on automatically saves it as the new rating type.

Sometimes, while scrolling through the settings on my phone, I accidentally tap a different rating type and have to correct it. This is a bit frustrating. If I ever forget to switch it back, future scores would be affected as well.

I understand there's already a warning under Rating Slider Precision stating that changes will only apply to new entries, but I still think this is worth discussing.

## The idea

Instead of automatically applying the new selection, display a confirmation dialog asking the user to verify that they genuinely intend to change the rating type. This would add an extra layer of protection against accidental changes, ensuring that a deliberate action is required before the setting is updated.

That way, a stray tap while scrolling through the settings on a phone wouldn't silently alter the rating type, and users wouldn't have to worry about forgetting to switch it back later. It's a small addition, but it could go a long way toward preventing unintended changes and the downstream effects they cause on new entries.
