Star Ocean: To the Far Side of Time

Star Ocean: Blue Sphere is the sequel to Star Ocean: The Second Story. Taking place 2 years after SO2, the Star Ocean characters find themselves on a new adventure. All the characters return (with Chisato and Noel making their first manga appearances), with a new spin, and a new story.

Star Ocean 3 takes place many years into the future. When Fayt Leingod, and his family is attacked on a vaction, Fayt find himself on an Underdeveloped planet, and seperated from his childhood friend, Sophia Esteed. Fayt adventures to find his family, his friends, and a way back home.

The Star Ocean: The Second Story manga, drawn by Mayumi Azuma, is based upon the Star Ocean: The Second Story video game developed by tri-Ace. It follows the storyline of the game, which follows the exploits of the two protagonists: Claude C. Kenni, a young ensign in the Earth Federation going on his first real mission with his father, and Rena Lanford, a young girl living in the rural village of Arlia on the planet Expel. Star Ocean EX, the anime series that retells the tale of the video game, is based upon this manga. The manga was never translated into English, and can only be found in Japanese. (Source: Wikipedia)

Based on the PSP remake of Star Ocean 2 (Rena's side of the game). Rena is a girl living in Expel. From young, she has always believed strongly in the legend of the Warrior of Light and believed that one day he will appear before her. Then one day, the Sorcery Globe fell upon the planet of Expel, causing chaos to the planet. One day, Rena met Claude when she was at the Shingo Forest, who had saved her from a monster with a weapon that shoots a dazzling light. Rena had believed that Claude was the Warrior of Light in the legend, but Claude had denied it. Despite that, the both of them set off together towards Eluria, where the Sorcery Globe fell, in-order to investigate it, meeting new people and gaining new allies on the way.
