One day Shirogane Takeru wakes up late, wondering why Sumika or Meiya didn't wake him up that morning. Not seeing any signs of them he gets a bit worried, and goes out of his house only to see the town he lived all his life in ruins, and finds a giant robot destroyed outside of his house. After getting past the initial shock he convinces himself that it must be a dream and decides to enjoy it as much as he can. Schwarzesmarken Requiem is a collection of short stories exploring the past and present of the cast of Schwarzesmarken from their point of view. Some stories take place during the events of Schwarzesmarken in 1983, while others happen years before the story takes place. These volumes were compiled from various Schwarzesmarken related short stories found in TSFIA and Cross Operation, as well as some stories written originally for the novels.

This is a prequel to Schwarzesmarken. Opening in the waning days of 1972, it recounts the tale of of the Bernhard siblings, Jürgen and Irisdina, and their friend, Beatrix Brehme as they cope with relationship issues, overbearing parents, and an alien invasion. *Note: Includes 3 extra chapters.*
