The story of a girl, Kirara who wants to be a great sushi chef specializing in Edomae style sushi but is initially objected by her grandfather. Saddened by taste of sushi in a very famous Ginza sushi restaurant, she challenged the chef there and won. Later, her sick grandfather gave her his blessings and sent her to train under others.

A young Keita Sakamaki continues his training in Ginza, a sacred place for gourmet food. Just as he is starting to make his mark as a sushi chef, he gets involved in a certain incident and decides to leave Ginza and become a "migratory craftsman." In the days when I drift away with just a knife, there are "encounters" everywhere I go.
