This story, in the universe of Suisei no Gargantia, follows Bellows, a side character in the original series, where the planet is covered with water and humanity lives in various large fleets of ships. The story begins three years before Ledo (from a spacefaring civilization) arrives. When Bellow's fleet is destroyed, she is rescued by a fleet of salvage ships, which send teams of yumboros (human operated excavation robots) under the water to recover goods. Her skill with yumboros is valued by her new fleet, and she soon joins the salvaging team.

Schwarzesmarken is another spinoff of the Muv-Luv series, set in Cold War Europe in 1983, eighteen years before the events of Muv-Luv Alternative. Like Total Eclipse, Schwarzesmarken is also a light novel. High treason against the state. Theodor, a pilot with the East German military whose family bears a tainted past, is sent to the 666th Company. Known as the Schwarzesmarken, they’re a unit that focuses on destroying the enemy with even at the cost of letting their comrades die. He meets the cold and calculating commander Irisdina and the idealistic Katia, and begins to doubt the way he’s lived his life.

Schwarzesmarken Requiem is a collection of short stories exploring the past and present of the cast of Schwarzesmarken from their point of view. Some stories take place during the events of Schwarzesmarken in 1983, while others happen years before the story takes place. These volumes were compiled from various Schwarzesmarken related short stories found in TSFIA and Cross Operation, as well as some stories written originally for the novels.

This is a prequel to Schwarzesmarken. Opening in the waning days of 1972, it recounts the tale of of the Bernhard siblings, Jürgen and Irisdina, and their friend, Beatrix Brehme as they cope with relationship issues, overbearing parents, and an alien invasion. *Note: Includes 3 extra chapters.*
