A new mini series for Shuriken. Shuriken, a former assassin turned freelance adventurer, was an early entry in both the Amerimanga and warrior woman trends that would explode over the next few decades. Following the events of Blade of Shuriken, unemployed and broke, Kyoko Shidara, aka Shuriken, takes a job with Danger Temps, basically a temp service for bodyguards. It sounds like a good idea at the time; but she is going to fight crazy vigilantes and a major terrorist organization (S.P.E.A.R.), who threatens all America. Meanwhile, Kyoko's mental state is tested. The storyline is followed in Hellbender and Shuriken(1991).
One shot. The story continues Shuriken’s adventures from Shuriken Cold Steel and is continued in Shuriken vol.2. A serial killer is loose and the police are baffled as to how to catch him. Detective Doug Jordan, the lead investigator on the case, has had problems with his self-confidence ever since he froze as his girlfriend, a rock star named Joan Harlowe, was attacked. He feels he has failed as a man. Harlowe returns after a long tour to meet with Doug. She is constantly shadowed by her friend, a deadly female martial artist named Kyoko Shidaro, a.k.a. Shuriken. When the three decide to dine at a popular night-spot, they are attacked by the killer, or so they think. Doug doesn’t freeze this time and shoots the perpetrator instantly. Later, when the detective inspects the body, he realizes that the man he shot was a copycat criminal. This means that Joan and Kyoko are alone, and in danger…

When Cathryn Monroe (Kate, to her friends) was young, she learned the way of the warrior from her grandfather, instead of playing with dolls like other girls. When the time came for her to decide on her future, she joined the military, even though it was against her mother’s wishes. Kate excelled in her training and was invited to join an elite killing force. Strangely, it was there that she met the love of her life, Andy. Throughout this series, Monroe faced a struggle between her life of adventure as a Ninja warrior, and her desire for a normal life. C.J Henderson and Peter Palmer created Ninja for Eternity Comics. The series began its run in October of 1986, featuring art by Kevin Farrell and Roy Richardson.
First Issue published by Imperial Comics. Issues 2 and 3 published by Malibu, through the Eternity Imprint. Lt. Katsu is a cop in Japan. In his line of work he sees everything from rapists to robbers, but he has never seen anything like this! First zombies rose from the dead and began attacking innocent people. Eventually Lt. Katsu and his Ninja friends defeated the zombies, but then he discovered that his boss, Captain Tanasa, had other even more dastardly plans in store for him. Battle to the Death ran three issues in the late 1980s. It’s a comic that had everything: rock and roll, samurai, intrepid rogue cops, zombies, even aliens.
The series plot started rather simply: Princess Asrial was sent to Earth to find Jeremy Feeple and marry him, an act that was described as required to ensure that their enemies do not lay claim to the planet. Since Earth was a non-aligned world, anyone could claim it, and the Salusians were desperate to keep it from being used against them. Ichi went to America to marry Jeremy as well, although her reason's for the trip were different, in order to become leader of her clan, her grandfather informed her that she had to marry the boy, the reason behind this is that Jeremy's mother was raised by this grandfather, and they wanted to be blood related. Unfortunately, shortly after landing, Asrial, Ichi, and Jeremy Feeple get caught up in a whirlwind of comic mischief, fighting, and plots by local villains to take over the planet. The comic often features parody versions of other comics or television shows, usually Japanese, like Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, Harry Potter, Superman, The Powerpuff Girls, Terminator, Ninja Gaiden, Transformers and the Gundam series.
