The manga starts with Kazuki, a university student in Tokyo, visiting her family during spring break. At first, her parents were pleased by her visit, but Kazuki doesn’t return to Tokyo even after a few days. And then one day she just tells her parents that she left university. She has no aspirations and so starts the story with her; she is being lazy at home as a ‘bonkura musume’.
