Kokome is a first-year high school student who is so petite she is often mistaken for an elementary school student. Together with Yukari, her very mature-looking best friend, she joins a manga and animation club at their school, led by Mimika, an elementary-age prodigy.
Okajima Sayori tripped down a flight of stairs and suddenly found herself in a parallel universe, with no idea what had happened. But she was rescued by a young man and his cat and he found a way to return her back to her own world. But instead, she finds herself traveling from universe to universe, from the medieval to the futuristic, and in every case there is a version of this man and his cat! Will Sayori ever make it home again?
A reboot of Shousuke Kurakane's 1949 series, this gag manga was part of a media mix that also included a Studio Pierrot anime (which was not a direct adaptation) and a video game for the Sega Mark III (which was later modified and released on the Master System in English as *Alex Kidd: High-Tech World*). The story follows the hijinks of a tomboy princess in Edo-period Japan.
Nozomi Hayasaka is 25 years old, but looks like she's 15 (much to her chagrin). One day, will walking along the street during the day, she's stopped by a man asking why she isn't in school. It turns out the man, Shigeru Yoshida, is currently a junior high school teacher. He also turns out to be one year younger than Nozomi and someone who looked up to her in school. The series follows them as they start dating and falling in love.
