The book, based on writings by the psychiatrist Yuki Yu, explains why people who die of overwork or commit suicide from work stress cannot "just quit.” It shows how people become trapped in their jobs and can't escape even at the cost of their own lives. The book also describes methods and ways of thinking that can help people who are consumed by work. The book also includes “I got out of a dark place,” a collection of interviews with people who have escaped from overwork depression and found happiness. We don't want to any more incidents of death by overwork and suicide. This book is a must-read for everyone working in modern Japan. (Source: Asa Publishing, translated)
