Musica Nostra is a collaborative work where various mangaka draw and/ or write about music and bands that inspire them, published in the Grand Jump. It includes Urasawa's musings about guitarists and playing guitar; his traveling to Sunset Sound in Los Angeles to record a song with Mike Viola and Jim Keltner, the latter of which sends a picture of Urasawa's The Beatles manga to Ringo Starr, and why their performance is credited to "Monaka"; Urasawa seeing Neil Young and Paul McCartney perform at Desert Trip; his meeting with Jack Oliver and depicting how the English record executive started working at Apple Records. *Note: this manga includes written chapters and drawn chapters, and never got a total volume release. The year is Showa 10 (1935). Yohichiro returns to his parents' home in Yokosuka from England, where he had been studying, upon receiving news of his parents' unfortunate passing. He is greeted by a little girl with blue eyes who calls herself Mayu. Mayu is the only person left in the mansion to serve him as he takes over as the head of the Wakui family. At first, Yohichiro distrusts Mayu, but as she takes care of him, he begins to open his heart to her. They are not related, not even family, but they develop a bond that is thicker than blood. Touya, the strongest player in the game Pandemic World Online, has won so many items that he decided to create an alternative account to store them while playing he was summoned to another world, but not having the category of hero is discarded and replaced by another person, now he will have to survive only in that world and with the character he created to store those items.

Originally published in 2012 volume 3 of Gessan, this plus version includes extended commentary by each of the involved creators and a highlight commentary by Satoshi Fukushima who oversaw the manuscripts.
