A hiker encounters a mysterious man sitting on a rock, and asks him about a specific town that's marked on the map. The man tells the hiker that no such town exists. The hiker believes him but the man has something sinister in mind.

While walking alone one night, a man runs into a mysterious puppeteer. Soon after the meeting, everyone he knows begins to act oddly.

Yuri Morita and her husband Hiro have moved into a new apartment block with a south-facing veranda. It's not new, but it's bigger than their old flat, and the neighbours are very kind. Above all, the veranda is perfect for drying futons and a nice place for children to play. Here, the couple starts their new life together. However, when Hiro casually says "Let's have a child", the words break Yuri's heart.
