While walking alone one night, a man runs into a mysterious puppeteer. Soon after the meeting, everyone he knows begins to act oddly.
Yuri Morita and her husband Hiro have moved into a new apartment block with a south-facing veranda. It's not new, but it's bigger than their old flat, and the neighbours are very kind. Above all, the veranda is perfect for drying futons and a nice place for children to play. Here, the couple starts their new life together. However, when Hiro casually says "Let's have a child", the words break Yuri's heart.
