A Spin off of Osomatsu-kun (Or more aptly, the shorter "Akatsuka-kun Can Do Anything" that was later renamed "$-Chan and Chibita", a series with a somewhat similar premise.) starring the titular Chibita. Much like in Osomatsu, chibita's familial situation as well as other factors, such as setting can change in each self contained gag story. Iyami appears from time to time as well as other Akatsuka characters, such as "Mojamoja-ojichan", whom was the protagonist of his own comic, this time appearing here twice as a sort of father figure/mentor for chibita.

Despite his parents' objections, Daisuke Shiro, a young teacher, took a job at a small school in the countryside. He was not welcomed by the villagers and their children, who saw him as an outsider. However, as Daisuke treated his students with compassion, they gradually come to understand each other. Daisuke and the students practiced hard for the big sports day competition between the local villages, and their bond is further strengthened. At the same time, children of migrant workers, who have been neglected due to the absence of their parents, came to the village and caused trouble.
