While the restaurant in the web comic and manga are both called Wagnaria, they are different branch stores, so the world is the same. For example, Sakaki Kenichirou, the web comic's store manager, is an old friend of Shirafuji Kyouko and Adachi Masahiro from the web comic is a band mate of Satou Jun from the Young Gangan version.
