Ryuuhei was quite popular due to his cheerful disposition, but when his Chinese friend Wan is executed after getting caught in a trap, Ryuuhei rises up in revolt, killing his superior officer! Kuroki has been asked to replace an injured pitcher in Koshien,and he performs well until an accident happens at the last inning. His team is lost. After the game, Kuroki sees a smile on the face of Suzuki who missed to catch the ball at the last inning. Unable to hold his anger, Kuroki causes a fight. As a result, his school is banned from Koshien. Two years later, Kuroki, who has not attend school since then, receives a mysterious letter from Suzuki, and shortly after that, he sees the news about Suzuki having committed suicide. From the letter he received, he knows this is not a suicide incident and promises he will solve this mystery.
