The story centers on Takako, a beautiful and professionally successful woman who has recently ended a very serious romance, and has burned out on seeking love. However, when Takako realizes that she is already in her 30s, she suddenly decides to get married, and begins registering on dating sites.

Is this a strange phenomenon or an incident? A diary of the dead is delivered to Kuki Yuuji, who lives in Shinshu. It is a memento of Kuki Sadaichi, Yuuji's great-uncle who died in battle at the end of the Pacific War, and it contains a strange obsession with life. From that day on, mysterious events begin to occur around Yuji, such as the destruction of his gravestone and the disappearance of his grandfather.
