High school student Komusashi Akada is a famous delinquent known as "The King of Destruction". What separates Komusahi from the average delinquent is his cherub-like face which he is insecure about. Suguru Ushikawa, the school's baseball ace, is seeking a catcher who can handle fastball speeds up to 140 km. After seeing Komusashi handle a group of thugs with ease (and catching a beating right after that), Suguru asks him to join the baseball team. Komusashi dons the catcher mask to lead his school to the Koshien-- and to hide his babyface.
